This is something I have been working on lately. It is mainly the same metal embossing I have been doing but with a different twist. This design is more casual, also more modern and a little edgier. I want to talk today about my friend Isabel. Besides being a great woman, intelligent, and talented, she has helped me with the photos for my website. She has taken most of the pictures you’ll see here, my etsy shop, my flickr, and picassa . I am not very photogenic but she can do “magic” and take the most beautiful pictures of you. Here in this picture you can see her at work. This was a session we did last year, it was very fun to do it. My cousin Nydia helped me as well. January. The very first days of the month are full of hope and expectancy for the near future. You promise yourself you’ll be better in every aspect of your life. You’ll exercise everyday, eat healthy, read that thick philosophy book you’ve always put away, be organized, meditate at least 15 min. a day, relax and learn to handle stress effectively. Well… my new year’s resolutions have just failed today. One by one… I have been failing to keep them. You have a melt down but then you realize tomorrow is another day. We have to remember that resolutions not only start the firsts days of January, we have to continue making resolutions throughout the whole year. So tomorrow I start again. Being strong, organized, positive, brave, facing the new year (and everything it brings) with renewed strength.
